    5.7 Hemi truck thoughts

I have a 22 Ram 1500 quad cab with a 5.7 & 2wd. Mine has a towing capacity of 11,590lbs, with a 3.92 rear gear. Trucks with the 3.21 have less capacity so if you’re looking at a specific truck, you need to check which rear axel is has if you want to tow 10k. I don’t actually tow with mine so...

What is this front end metal piece above bumper called? '72 Scamp

According to the 1971 body service manual, it is called the “lower grill panel”. Should be the same for 72.

Do we still remember? They're still in business in Signal Hill. I drive by them quite often.

Just for fun on the 4th of July. Schoolhouse Rocks!

I remember singing the Pre-amble in my head while taking a history test in 11th grade. This stuff sticks with you.

OBDII scanner / software reasonable priced?

Out of curiosity, how do you know the PCM is the problem? My 2000 5.9 does the same thing and would like to correct.

    PowerSteering Woes

This might sound stupid but, your not putting too much fluid in it are you? It does naturally expand when hot and too much could force it out the cap. Just a thought.

    PowerSteering Woes

I disagree with the sucking air from the high pressure side theory. Remember that the pump pushes into the hp hose and sucks from the l.p. hose. If you have an air leak it would more likely be in the low pressure hose. Also, a leak in the hp hose would squirt out of that hole like a fountain.

    71 Demon Radio Removal

This is from my 71 Plymouth F.S.M. for A body radio removal. With rally cluster and a/c, in addition to what you have already done, remove the 2 outlet retaining nuts and remove duct. It is also necessary to remove the right defroster hose & hose bracket from back of radio. Remove bottom...

    Craigslist scammer targeting my son...

The first time this happened to me, the scammer either never sent the check, or sent it to the wrong place. Then they were pestering me for their refund. I finally got tired of the game and told them that if I ever received their check, I would take it directly to the F. B. I. I never was...

What does this clutch switch do?

Here is a picture of a clutch safety switch from a 71 b body. It basically creates a ground when the clutch is depressed allowing the starter relay to activate. If you have a manual shift car from pre-1970, you don't need it. However, if you are converting from an automatic you will either...
