    I work in an engine shop, yes, do get the Eddy heads checked If your budget can afford it & you don't have them at the moment may I suggest getting an adjustable valve train with correct rocker ratio, the OEM ratio isn't the greatest

    not a dry sump system, still use the sump but with oil lines feeding out to an external pump running off the Damper or whatever

    has anyone tried the MP 312 mech cam in a small block?, just wondering what some have run in E/T/s using one have one here I'm going to use, my car weighs 3,400 lbs, 4.89 gears, 29 inch tire, 1-7/8 primaries, heads flow 283 cfm, 727 trans, stroked 360 will be 379 ci, car not running yet

    on this head with a factory seal & retainer it shows .500 inch between retainer base & seal top, ( tight measurement )

    just checked a factory valve head & it's about .600 clearance without a stem seal between factory retainer base & guide top, will slide a seal on later & measure, hope it helps a bit in the mean time

    Solid lifter for me, they have the luxury of a more aggressive ramp on the cam lobe by design & have a positive effect on the valve motion

    correct carb????

    Poor old 360 might drown with a 850, my 360 has 915J ported heads, 10:2:1 comp, Offenhauser Porto Sonic manifold, Chrome box etc etc ( 1-5/8 primaries ), currently using MP 292 duration cam & Holley 750 DP, size 71 jets front, size 81 jets rear, front 2.5 PV & no rear PV, also running NGK BP7ES...

    30+ year old heads it would be anyones guess, factory Tulip valve with triple lock
