Feels great to have a big block in one piece again; 383, Comp Cams 268XE, Torker, gasket matched heads w/ dual springs, basically stock. 9 years in the making. Now to finish up the rest of the car!

Thats why I asked the John Deere thing has me confused as I thought it would be more of just a hydralic thing in the tractor. Our cars use the fluid for both Hydraulics and friction modifying. :?

It may be your brakes, the shoes shift if they are out of adjustment and jam against the drums, if you have drums that is :)

With all the new fluids and technology out there which is the BEST fluid to use in a basically stock 727 behind a mildly modified big block with 3:23 gears? Oh and thanks for the new forum and your sponsership. :cheers: :D

You might want to check the Vin decoder, I think my car was a 318 car. No 273's in 69.
