Thanks for the info. What 360 (year, make) should I look for that will have the minimal amount of extra parts for the conversion? I'm running the 904 right now but could have a 727, suggestions on that also?

Its definitely not my daily driver, would like to have a street fun car that will put you back in the seat, but not over the top strip type motor.

I have a 73 Swinger that has a fairly stock 318 in it with a 4bbl Edelbrock 600cfm. I am thinking about going to a 360 that will eventually be stroked and bored. Should I put that money into the 318 or build the 360? Opinions? Advice? Warnings? Thanks for the help... Robert

I am currently running a 318 with a 3 speed auto and a single legger rear end. I will be upgrading to a 408 stroker and a sure grip rear end and probably running between a 373 and 410 in the rear. Havent quite decided. What tranny should I go with? Keisler quoted me a 4 speed auto for $4995...

Is it possible to bolt right in? It comes with the computer for $100.

Actually going a satin black for now. I havent decided on the final color yet.

All body work done. That included filling all dents, welding in frenched marker lights, welding in new rear lower quarter panels and sanding.... alot! Front and rear sway bars installed. New bushing kit installed. Next is satin black paint this weekend, then carpet, re upholster seats then...

I am interested in putting a 408 Stroker in my '73 Swinger. Was curious I would be cheaper/better to build my own or buy a crate motor like the one summit has here: http://summitracing.com/parts/MLL-BPC4081CT It's listed at $5800.
