    Adjustable Strut Rods

So my question is, what kinds of adjustments do you make for alignment angles for radial vs. bias ply tires? Less camber, more caster? (that'd be my guess) -- how much more or less? And thanks for such an informative post!

Yes, definitely need. Tell me how you'd like to be paid for it, (don't say "exorbitantly"! <grin>) and let's make it happen.

[WANTED] Glove box INSIDE catch - 70 Swinger

I've got a glovebox door and the lock button/latch on it. I need the "catch" that mounts on the inside of the glove box and catches the door lock when you close it. I don't know exactly what it looks like, but I think it's a simple bar, something about the thickness of a screen door catch.

Does this happen to you all the time?

My car is still a project and not yet on the street, so no, I don't get that all the time - not ANY of the time! But I imagine it'll be semi-flattering at first to hear that kind of stuff, but from what you're saying I expect it'll wear thin. At least now I'll expect it and be ready for it...

[FOR SALE] 70 swinger parting out

Can you post some pics of the grill? I also need a front wheel right wheel hub, 10" manual drum brakes. (Or left hub with RH stud threads)

[FOR SALE] 1970 dart 2 door roller - part out

I'm looking for a right side wheel hub (or left with RH threads) for 10" drum brakes. It's not integral with the drum itself. Drum pulls off easily.

    Captainkirk's Duster project

What sadness... I just realized that MONTHS ago I changed my email address and didn't tell FABO. SO -- I just signed on and looked for updates to this thread. Woe is us'ns. No updates in all these months from our esteemed Cap'n. Come on, buddy. Make a New Year's Resolution for the Duke, and...

Saying goodbye to a great friend!!

Sincere condolences. Maybe we can resolve to honor a memory of a guy like that by trying to be a little more like that kind of mentor and friend ourselves. RIP, Sam.

    Door panel restoration and re-dying

Thanks, all, for your guidance. The interior is currently green, and we'll keep part of it green, but want to accent much of the door panels with the 1970 Y3 "Cream" color, like we're going to paint the car. Seat upholstery will likewise be green with cream inserts.

    Door panel restoration and re-dying

The door panels in my 70 Dart are not awful. But they're loosening up on the corners/ends. I wonder if I might be able to hit them with a heat gun (gently), re-stretch and re-glue the material. THEN... I'd be interested in spraying a vinyl die on them to change the color. And the armrests...

8.75 Sure Grip axle end play - left side

Oh, hey, quick update... I couldn't resist going out and just checking on something... Both axles ARE evidently touching the thrust spacers because I can feel them moving against each other when I spread my arms and push against both axles at the same time. If I push one inward, the other moves...
