Got new flex lines and jumper tubes (10" drum) from Inline Tube and things aren't lining up.
Feels like the bends are too tight on the jumper tubes, but brackets are probably bent from original position.
Any tips on getting them lined up and installed?
How loose are you guys installing the rear nut when checking for binding? After getting the rest of the parts connected I'm noticing the strut rod is moving in and out of the rear. Hoping to figure that out before installing the other side
I recently got the 12 ton. It gets the job done, but is a little unstable. There's a coupon to get it for $100 though, so hard to complain if using infrequently.
Welder and lathe are available, but to everyone's point, getting new ones is probably the right move. Just super bummed to be set back and have to drop more cash.
So the treads on one of my strut rods failed hard during installation and cross threaded to absolute death. Is it possible to weld the treads up and recut them, or are they hardened and I'm out of luck?
