Do 'Milodon' do a Mains Stud Kit also? Never tried one because everyone just goes straight to ARP..... but I wonder if their kit has the same issue? In this case I guess....modification of the ARP Stud is what I would be trying.

Yes I know.. Build it already!!! Small update to the above. The Weiand Stealth intake has been swapped out for an Eddy Air-Gap, mainly due to the massive difference in Port sizes and therefor much easier matching to the gasket and Eddy Heads. ( The tiny ports and casting irregularities...

About to throw some Hughes Rockers on my Eddy heads. Hopefully geometry works out ok. The Comp Pro Magnums seem to have a good rep also but I have not used them. :D Cheers, Teedog

How angry does the little Teen sound with that Solid Xs268s cam? As a step up from the Xe262 I am now considering the following Comp Cams options. (Bearing in mind it is not a strip car... but a Feisty Performance Street Cruiser that can scare off a few others when and if required)...

Ok.. so I would certainly be happy to look into stepping up to a solid cam and lifters however my question would now be this... Would the Edelbrock 'Sure Seat' Valve Springs #5767 as are currently on the heads, be usable on any of the following camshafts? Comp 270s - I suspect this one...

Yeah.. I was probably a little misleading with my original description of the standard Borgy diff. Plenty of cars running quick times with these modified. Cheers, Teedog

You wouldn't consider a solid cam worth trying with similar or slightly higher specs seeing that I already have the adjustable rocker gear? Cheers, Teedog

So having said that, how would the Solid Xs268s compare to the Hydraulic Xe268 at the lower end of the Rpm range? Or the low lift 270s? Cheers, Teedog

Thanks all. All comments, advice and criticism much appreciated. As I said, first build so am still learning. It looks like my HP estimate figure seems to be around the mark then.. that's great. So if i was to move up to an Xe268 hydraulic or equivalent, there would be perhaps another 20-25...
