With my 273, you can actually see the fuel bubbling in the filter. Tried insulating the line from the pump to the filter, and from the filter to the carb with no success. I'd try non-alcohol fuel, but it's not available around here. Thinking about the tri-nozzle filter and a return line to the...

273 started using Hydraulic lifters in '68. Think the 273 Commando was discontinued at that time

I should mention that the column shift mechanism is poor. Mine would drag out of 1st and get hung between neutral and 2nd. Ended up putting in a a tunnel kit and a Hurst shifter. Mine originally came with a crappy clutch disc....think it was 9¼"...car magazine said it shouldn't be used in...

66 Dart 273 2bbl. Stock. Having serious vapor lock/ fuel boiling issues. Need a recommendation for a DEPENDABLE full time electric pump replacement for the factory mechanical fuel pump.

Finally got under the car to pull out the cable. Can't get to it without removing a bunch of stuff (shift linkages etc. (automatic, console shift)). Just don't have time right now. Will keep you in mind as a source, if I ever get the time to pull the gear out. Thanks.
