Use 360 mounts, the ears on the 340 and 360 are the same. If you go to your local parts store, aks for the 360 mounts, since the 340 will throw them off.

Don't know if this will help, but is your speedo cable and gear in good shape. I have had problems before with both making a sound like what you describe at low speeds. I checked both and after oiling the cable and re-seating the gear the noises went away.
