    360 crank in a 318 block

Hello A-body friends, I have to add some info in this old thread about my engine build we discussed earlier here. I sold my car with the 318 build for about 2 years ago. I find out in a local FB A-body group that the new owner have put the car on a dyno. The setup are pretty much the same as...

    360 crank in a 318 block

Well yes I'm not going to the dragracing track only as you said enjoy the car on the street... I'm a rookie when talking about motor builds but I have during this trip discovered just this that you talking about. A 318 have the same basic specs as a 340 it's just the block and bore that...

    360 crank in a 318 block

Hello I'm now not so long from putting the build in my car. I have a question about spark plugs and my setup. What spark plugs do you guys suggest that will suit my setup and MSD 6AL ignition? Is "original" AC Delco R44XLS just fine?

    360 crank in a 318 block

In my mind a motor with 3.31 stroke is more "rev willing" (dont know the word for that but I hope you get what I mean) than a 3.58 or 4.0 stroke.

Yes you're right about that... shipping, toll, toll taxes AND tax on purchase + shipping and toll value... tripple taxes so to say.... :-(

    360 crank in a 318 block

My original plan was to keep the 3.31 stroke and just bore 0.060 and use the KB 167's (or maybe the KB399's but I think it will be 167's) and my prepped 596 heads, then I got an offer to buy a 360 crank for only $30.... You know what cu does to people.. ;-) så instead of a 328cu it would be a...

    360 crank in a 318 block

Hi, I have a 360 crank from a -89 and I planning to use it in a 318 block from 1970. Does it fit "bolt-on"? The plan is to use KB167 +0.060, 596 heads w 2.02, 1.60 and milled to 60cc valves. Do you see any drawbacks? Then I should have approx 10.0:1 so I can use regular gas (98oct pumpgas...
