Found this car hiding between two garages about five miles from my house. 49k original, / six, disk brakes, cold A/C, original paint, 100% rust free. I have always been a GM guy, but the second he pulled the cover off, I had to have it. The wife is a little upset with me, because we really didn't have the money for this, but I just felt like I couldn't pass it up. I don't think I've ever seen a body this clean up here in Jersey. Ended up trailering it out of there for $2000.00. What do you guys think? Good deal, or should I still be in the doghouse?

i like it! i would drive it and have fun with it. she will come around to it. p.s try to find some rallyes for it with some raised letter tires for a more sporty look if she still doesn't come around..

So that's where the jack goes!

Looks like a clean car. Even has the body colored gas cap!

Good Deal. :thumleft: You might want to get a bigger doghouse...

Beautiful! From the side it looks exactly like the '73 Scamp my father bought new. Same color paint and vinyl roof. Interior is the same too. I love it!

You probably should sell it to me for 2k....so you are not in the dog house anymore.

That thing is NICE!! WOW....you did good. You would not have any problems making some money on that.

I have $2200 for you if it's running....My Grand ma had the same car, color back in the 70's-90's...My sister got it when she passed and destroyed it in a few years..Sell it, get out of the dog house..

Very nice find indeed! Can't believe it's that solid being from the east coast....

Looks like a great deal. Get a bigger dog house. I often ask my wife to put me in mine. A 33x24 garage with sat TV, frig, microwave, tools and my girlfriend (71 Swinger). They don't call 'em Swingers for nothing do they?

Great find.

BTW, welcome to the best A body site on the net.

that car is a museum piece, very good find,I don`t think my conscience would have let this get away either, and cold air to boot...excellent!

Lucky guy!! That was a great find!!

You got really screwed on this deal, wow. Just to show you what a nice guy I am, and Mopar guys are in general, I will give you your money back, plus enough to buy the Mrs. a nice dinner. That should get you out of the dog house. :)

lol, for 2000$, thats an awesome start!!! especially up there in NJ! What town u live in? I used to live in Bergen County in a little town known as New Milford, a little down the road from Paramus. My dad owned Kleon furniture in Newark

WOW! You score a tremendous deal. You can hardly find a running beater of any vintage for that money, let alone a treasure like this. It has the same color interior that mine had originally. Your wife may be ticked now, but take her for some rides, go to a couple of shows and when she sees the attention that it gets, she will start to warm to it. Another story that proves that it is worth pursuing these cars when you find them. Had it been sitting long? Why was it parked? You done good, brother! L8r.

Welcome to FABO, GOTMEA73! You're going to have fun here.
Great find! If your Ms. insists on keeping you in the doghouse, just make sure you build a garage onto it so you can keep that sweetheart of a Dart looking just like it does now.

As tempting as it sounds to make $202 in this economy, I think I'm going to keep it. She's coming around, and we're taking it to it's first show today. This thing drives great! Much lighter steering than my Skylark, but I'm getting used to it. I am in love with this car!

Wow! I'm speechless! That car is clean and yea, you STOLE it!!! You just saved yourself so much time and money, not having to do rust repair...
