Don't get excited ... this is only an 1/8th mile run!
Best run of the nite was 7.232 @ 92.44 mph

I know one here really cares,but this is ALL motor,footbrake with orig worn out bushings on worn out leaf springs.Only could get a 1.517 60 ft this nite.Best is a 1.496.Think you all would bee more impressed if I had this with a 273.318.340.360.440 or a hemi.I am here because I am a Mopar fanantic and a racer.Arent we here cause we love ALL,ALL Mopars?I could have had a V8,I chose to go fast the harder way.Please respect the slant racers and not just ignore them.Thinking about Bakersfield f/gas but I would have to lift.Guzzi Mark

i care! lol where can i find shots of the motor. i think the next abody /6 i do will be a turbo.

hey i care. and i must say, the slant six crowd is some of the nicest people i know. not all stuck up like my friends with hemis. good job buddy.

You've lost it. I care. I think it's awesome. I'm wantin to build a little slant powered DD while I slowly build my BB Scamp. That car is some serious inspiration. Thanks for the post. I'd like to know more about the engine/trans setup.

I am interested in what trans and rear suspension you have moving that early Valiant ?
We have an 1/8 mile track 17 miles away and I have been going there for over 30 year's and I would love to have you show up there and let all the MoPar folks enjoy seeing it =P~

That car is insane!!!! I just got done tearin out the /6 outta my Val to put in a bb. Maybe I should reconsider haha. Congrats on the final product my man that is awesome. Keep the videos comin!!!
 
Bored to a 238,Mike Jefferies prepped head,Comp cam .544 lift with 1.6 rockers.12.5 compression,Holley 600 vac secondaries,Clifford intake and headers.904 trans with 9 inch continental converter,about 4000 stall,456 gears 28x9 goodyears.Wore out orig flat leaf springs with one half leaf added upside down from the perches forward.Front orig clamp only.Gets consistant low 1.50s 60 fts, one 1.498 and my racer freind thinks I should go Cal Tracs.I personally dont think they would help my 60 ft times because I have just under 300 rwhp.Car weighs 2375 .Opinions welcome.Guzzi Mark
 
That is impressive! I saw your car at Spring Fling, my 8 year old daughter still talks about that car. Loved watching you smoke that Vette in the video.
 
How in the heck do you get that car to weigh 2375 pounds? Is there less gravity on your planet? LOL
 
And thats with me in it!!!!!No fiberglass.Used a rear steer 90 Corrola rack,aluminum floor in trunk,lexan and a bunch of holes.Front bumper is just a plastic rear bumper cover off a 2004 Pacifica suv.Hood has been cut up with aluminum grateing in the inserts,hood only weighs 21lbs.
