Well I found this car a 73 valiant 4 door 318 AT PS.Car was sitting up for sum time but with a little gas and a hot battery it fired right up. Transmition is shot. Has sum rust in lower quarters and trunk. I have enough spare parts to probly be able to fix quarters and trunk. Only thing. That worries me iis the front and rear windshields. If I understand right they don't reproduce the gaskets, correct me if I'm wrong.Just hate to spend a whole lot of money on a 4 door.Even though I've seen sum that are cool. might just find a duster and use the valient as part car.

The window gaskets can be reused if you are willing to put the time and effort required into it. I just recently retired our 73 Valiant ( again ). She has been a good one. This time I started parting her immediately. Otherwise I might have gone right back in with fresh gas and battery soon as the need came around. Been there done that LOL

That looks like a pretty nice car four a 4 door....I mean it has a nice blue (is that Petty Blue?) , decent looking front end & cool steelies with dog dish hub caps. It also has the '73 and later small block spool K-frame. :thumblef:
It all comes down to price, how bad you want it, & how much it'll cost you.

if you do decide to part it and use the parts on a duster I could use some of the little things here and there if you dont use them. Just a suggestion though.

partttttttttttttttttt it. put the pig out of its misery. lol

If thats a factory coolant reservoir with the 22 inch radiator, I'd like to have it.

Well yall have conformed what I was thinking. Part it. Every time I buy a parts car that runs I want to save it. Kind of like a stray pup Just want to save them all.I would love to find a Duster in decent shape to restore. I'm still workn on my 67 dart. So much to replace hope I can finish it before I start another project.

That's a '74. A '73 has the old-style rear end with the newer front-end.

I like 4-doors, but I concur on parting it to make a Duster live.

access holes added to flush the cowl ?
I thought the 22 inch radiators were replaced with 26 inch in all a-bodies after 72. Wrong again I guess. Maybe the 22 inch didn't disappear until 75 .

The idea is right to keep all the crap from rusting out your cowl.

It does already have the 26" opening though, see?
