Parting out a 1964 Plymouth Barracuda to make into a 24 Hours of Lemons race car (car has a rusty frame rail, 1/4's, floor pans etc), let us know if you are looking for anything. All proceeds go towards the cage fund! None of the sheetmetal or suspension will be available but anything else is game, going to strip the entire interior. All prices are OBO, don't be afraid to make an offer. We will be heading to the Fall Fling car show in Van Nuys, CA next weekend so free shipping for any parts.

Here are some parts we already have out but everything is available:

Grill - One small crack in top - $200
Dash - Really nice - $100
Dash Wiring Harness - $100
Engine Wiring Harness - $100
Rocker Moldings - $75
Interior Metal Trim Windshield and Roof Rail Gold in color - $40
Rear Seat - $50
Front Seat Belt Set - $40

PM or e-mail me with your needs, all prices are very obo, not sure what some of this stuff is worth.

A factory /6 4 speed cuda is very rare. You should restore it back to original and find another car to do.

You should sell the steering wheel , if it's a nice as it looks in the pics you should get $150 for it.
Also, for safety you should remove/replace the steering colm with one that is able to collapse from a later model year (I think '71 & later), it should fit.
Looks like a fun project would love to help but I'm 1800 miles away.
Good luck!

Steering wheel is available if anybody needs it. Need to keep all the 4 speed stuff however for the race car. The chrome base ring for the shifter and the scuff plate next to the gas pedal are both available however.

The body of the car is in really rough condition, floor pans are rusty, 1/4's have rust, inner fenders have rust through and the driver frame rail is rusty, it's really not that nice of a car. Interior is pretty nice however as well as a lot of trim.

You western guys are spoiled. Rust in the floors? We rebuild cars around here with no quarters and no floors. The car is to nice to cut up. I got a 4 speed 64 barracuda That I would trade you for that... if I was closer, that is.

Interested in the wheel how much do you want.

I have one to trade you if needed.

I also need door locks

Can't believe the response on here, posted an ad on Moparts about the car and have not had one response.

Been PMing people all morning about the parts and shooting offers. Don't be afraid to make a counter offer!

Hey 66340SEDAN, yes I was the one who sold you that wagon, glad to hear you still have it and it's on the road still.

Thats because moparts is lame....this is a real Mopar site with FRIENDLY people!!!! Done some things to the wagon but you would still recognize it. On top of the page click on the "search" button and type in 1973 Fury Suburban wagon and you will see plenty pics of the beast!! I love the car, probably never sell it :iconbigg:

Do you still have the Dodge squad car?

Little update, parts sold as of today:

Steering Wheel
Taillights
Rear Window Bottom Chrome Trim
License Plate Light Lens
Think I have the 4 speed scuff plate and left side dash bezel sold as well, waiting to hear back from somebody

More stuff with prices:
Barracuda fender emblems - they are mint - $25
Complete jack - $75
Matching door and ignition locks with correct key - $30
Front Seat Belts (they are pretty rough) - $20

If you are changing the shifter, I am interested in the shifter rod, ball, and boot. Do you have the chrome shifter bezel, too?

Have the chrome bezel but need to keep everything else. $15 for the chrome bezel with the screws. PM me if you are interested.

An old thread, but thought I check to see if you still have the interior metal windshield pillar mouldings for the 64 Barracuda?
Thanks

I'm currently servicing one of those instrument panels. I was looking for a pic of what they looked like when new. Maybe they are supposed to look like silver spray paint ( no chrome ).

Been a while since I posted on this thread but finally have the car totally apart. Here is a picture of what is left, realize it is hard to tell what is left but let me know if you see anything you need. Most of the hard to find stuff is gone (tail lights, dash cluster, radio, rear chrome trim) but still have the dash, interior door Barracuda emblems, all windows and tracks with regulators, all the interior trim, and much much more. VERY reasonable prices for this stuff, just want to get it out of the shop, hate throwing anything away.

BTW for those who think this car was too nice to use for a race car this is what the front driver side frame rail looks like under the upper control arms.
