41-50 - born too late to have lived through the thick of the muscle car era but old enough to remember and appreciate it. Also at a point in life to be able to make it happen.

Powerful memories old cars bring. Some real, some imagined but all cool.

Wow I belong to the elite bunch, comming in at 71. I bought my first Mopar a brand new dodge when I was 25. It was a 66 Dart GT 273/4barrel/4sp. I race this Dart in stock and super stock class for many years.Plus it was my family car and daily driver My son drove it to school in 1977/78. When he graduated I got it back. I fixed it up like I wanted to. A stroked 340/398 cid,6 pk,orignal 4 sp. narrowed 83/4 rear end. new red paint and int. since then its been on three power tours and drove it from Ark. to Oh. (800 mi.) to the 2009 Mopar nat. Still got my first Mopar my 1966 Dart GT 46 years later.
Other mopars I own a 67 A 100 van,a 70 Cuda 440/6pk number matching car, and my 89 Shelby Dakota I bought new also. It also has a stroked 340/418ciid. A quick little truck thats fun for this old (elite) man to drive. Love my MOPARS

Well i am 54 years young 55 in sept. I am true blue mopar man. You don't get a tatoo with the mopar M and the word mopar under it if you are not a real mopar guy that don't come off with soap & water..thats for life an so are my mopars.. LOL

69 valiant 100, I also have a '69 V-100...

I am 43, but have been graced with may dad's ability to age pretty slow. I look to be 30-33 tops, and with my younger daughter in tow, I really don't look my age. It's bad for my wife, who is younger than me but looks older than I do (I find it funny)

Born Sept 67.Started with teenage relatives in the mid 70s,everyone had a hot musclecar.Started with furds and chubbys,my engine builder started showing me the ropes.Currently a 72 Scamp in progress, had a 69 Road Runner six pack clone, and a 67 notch Cuda.(still my favorite ).

Currently 51, and like V-100 I to have age defying powers as most people take me for late 30's early 40's. The car seen keeps you you at heart!
My first memory of a Chryler was my Fathers 1928 Dodge, I was 2 at the time. Grew up with a few other Mopars and have owned a few myself over the years.
Currently building a 62 Valiant

I bought my first car at age 17, a 1968 GTX 440, which I still have. I am now in my mid 50s and have three old Mopars.

I am 45 and I came home from the hospital in my dads first new car a 66 plymouth fury.
He kept that Fury for so long I actually drove it some in high school.
When I turned 16 my grandpa gave me his 65 dodge coronet which was my first car.
Drove the dodge until I totaled it.
My second car was a 71 challenger that I bought for $250.00.
Drove that challenger for 11 yrs until somebody made me an offer I could not refuse.
Bought and sold many mopers since then.
I know own a 73 duster, 48 willys jeep, 03 wrangler and a 11 caliber (wifes).

27, My fathers been dirt oval racing mopars from since the mid 70's. So i def grew up with the Mopar or No car deal. My first mopar was a 1973 Duster at 18. Being 18 i knew it all and went to purchase the car by my self with out even asking my dad and proceeded to bring home a complete turd.

Dabbled in watercooled Vw's after losing my butt on the duster till i was 25. Finally got the bad "Dust" taste out of my mouth and went back to the light .

I'm 69 years old and have had my 64 Signet almost 30 years, first day I got it, I removed engine, trans, rear, front end and replaced them with a roller cam 318 Dynamic 727, 8 3/4, and a disc brakes, been through every engine which came after the 273, the 318, 2 - 340's and this 360, next engine is going to be the new 3.6 and 8 speed auto. I'm more of a vehicle person not caring what people like as long as I like it. Got a stock looking faded paint 90 Chevy pick-up with a 96 LT1 and T56 six speed, an original 66 Signet 273, 4 speed, a 66 custom VW bug and a 300ce Mecedes coupe, all running, registered and drive them all. When I'm home on the porch, I sit in this rocking chair which was in July 84 issue of Easy Rider..

when it opens you will find a black block on the left with "NEW THREAD" left click

I'm 57, my first car was a 1965 Ramblin Rambler 2 door with the fold down seats that made into a bed, I could have rented that car out of the high school parking lot if I was smart... ha ha. My wife was born in 1967 the same day that my 67 Dart 4 door came off the car lot. We did not find this out till we found the bill of sale in the paperwork the car came with when I bought it... cool eh!

I'm the 29% !! My first was a 65 Dart that I had after high school in Massachusetts. In the six years I drove it, I had some spectacular crashes, vandals, pulled a boat, and my first engine swap with home made K frame. It had the best undercoat of any car and that New England salt never touched it! (Bench seats turned out to be pretty important at the time too). But the best was this winter trip over the Pocono's which turned out to be the last time I saw my uncle and grandpa. (The only picture I have left) That car suffered a dramatic end and it took me 20 years to get another A body. (you never forget your first)

I'll be 24 in 3 days. I got a beat up 67 Dart as an early present at 15 1/2 to build for my 16th bday. Got it going and made the biggest mistake of my life and traded it for a pickup to haul my dirtbike. I know you hate me!!! I recently purchased a sad 69 dart that i stripped down to frame and its in the process of coming out a fresh new Dart. The 67-69 Dart body will always be the most georgous muscle car ever!!!
