I'm 62 and was really excited to see how many members are younger. I graduated from HS in 68 and my first A-body was a 66 cuda 4 spd 273 2bbl. Soon I swapped in 273 commando and a few mods. Next was a 69 340-s 4 spd fb, when I got home from the army. Then a new 72 Duster 340 4 spd in Lemon Twist and black. Also had a 74 Duster and the 69 BB FB Cuda I have now as a project. Why Mopars? Probably because my Dad has always been a mopar guy. He bought a 65 chevy once and at 90, he still says that chevy was a piece of junk. When I was 16, our father/son project was putting a Dodge 325 Hemi in his 58 Plymouth station wagon. That thing would haul the mail!

61, first new car, 70 Duster, still have it; then a 70 340 Swinger, other guy totalled it. 79 D150, 340 slipped in. The local kids, in their 5.0 Mustangs couldn't figure out how a 318 truck kept beating them. Just helped a bud restore a 69 Charger. He drove that 440 first, then wanted me in the driver seat to tune it(Toyotas his whole life) Poor old Duster waiting for me to get a job again.

Just bumpin' it up. I don't think this is done yet. If all the "lurkers" joined the forum I'm sure we would see a change in the ratio. :D

I'm 22. Growing up, my dad liked looking at old cars at car shows, but despised driving American cars. He had a 1982 Saab 900 Turbo while my Mom had a 1985 Saab 900 Turbo. I watched Steven Spielberg's Duel when I was four, and that was it for me. Ever since I have loved A Bodies. My first car was a Ford Escort, (utter garbage, I might add) Followed by an 85 Toyota Camry. Then I had my '70 Valiant. But it turned out to be too big of a project for me, as I'm in the military. Not to mention once It got cold, I noticed half the car was bondo.

I look forward to getting another A body as a daily driver. I think part of the problem with guys my age is most of these cars were 20+ years old when we were born. They were on their way out of used car lots and into people's garages and salvage yards. I do my best to show people the joy in owning an older Mopar. I would love to have been born when these cars were just used cars and were a dime a dozen.

Hey guys im new here and are part of the future and will be turnin 15 this summer. been around cars since before I could walk. My father used to tell me how to change the oil and other things when I was in the ICU.
Been suffering from MOPAR fever ever since.

Welp, I added my notch to the 31-40 group (I'm 32). I grew up on Dad's stories of his '70 SuperBee with a 383 and 4-speed. Growing up I always wanted an old Mopar, but never was in a situation to own one. Finally, this winter I decided enough was enough, and I was going to get one! So on February 25th, 2012, I brought home my '65 Barracuda. I like the B and E bodies, but the Barracuda just really appealed to me because of how unique they are. I'm 32 years old and have been to numerous car shows throughout the years...and my B'Cuda is the first I've ever seen in person. Mmmm, can't wait to get it on the road :D

71 will be 72 next mo I am the orginal owner of my 71 Demon 340 orderd it in Nov. 70 took it home Jan. 71 won E/S at winter nant'l 73 now just show the car

My first real Mopar was a '64 Plymouth Fury, 2 door hardtop, 383 with Typewriter drive. Loved that car! Wish I still had it. I've had a number of cars but the Mopars were always my favorites.

Started getting into cars at age 15 (1984) with a '66 Chevelle Malibu, moved on to a '64 1/2 Mustang coupe, then to a '70 Charger R/T. After that it gets fuzzy as I started buying/selling cars in rapid succession. Probably owned close to 120 cars since then, although some were only bought for parts and then flipped.

I'm 15 and got a '72 Dart about six months ago. I'm the only mopar guy in my family, one side is Chevy the other Ford. But my pap did race a '68 Dart GTS, and my uncle ran a '69 Roadrunner.

................I'll be double nickles in a few months.........i've had lots of muscle mopars......only 2 i haven't had is a Road Runner or a Challenger............kim.......

43 years old. When I was younger I looked way younger than I was- several times people I knew would see me with my dad and ask me about my 'older brother,' so I knew I'd be in good shape when I was older. I look about 30-32, my wife (who is younger than me) doesn't look her age either, but she still looks older than me. Pisses her off...but I can see in my daughters that they, too, will age like my father

Geez i just read my response to the poll and realized im well on the way to the 40 club ouch

33 years old and ive had my dart since a junior in high school. Ive built a few other cars along the way ( sunbeam tigers ) but ive always been true to the ol dart. Finally after 13 years im back hammerin hard on it to get her done and can't wait to hit the block sidewayzzzzz!!!

14 years old, First car is a 1969 Dodge Dart GTS 340 4spd car. I was born and raised around Mopars.

Hey, in October can I change mine from the 15-20 to 21-30?

'70, soon to be '71. My first Mopar was a '48 Plymouth dad bought me in 1956. First A-body was a '63 Signet hardtop that I bought in '66. I've owned nothing but dozens of Mopars since my '48.
