Station Wagon wind deflectors?

Well, Ive finally decided (after choking on exhaust fumes coming through the tailgate window the past couple years) that I need to try and stop fumes from coming in the cabin of my car. My first step to trying to stop this will be to make a set of wind deflectors to redirect the flow of air down the side of the car to the back to help minimize the low pressure zone at the back window thus hopefully greatly reducing fumes in the car.

Here is a pic of what I will try to recreate.

I will keep an eye on this post I would like to find a set of deflectors for my 62 Wagon
 
You may be disappointed. I have them on my 61 Lancer wagon. I've tried all different angles and I still get fumes when I leave the rear window down. Even tried driving with all the windows down and that didn't help either. One thing though, they do look cool.
 
Aren't the deflectors to keep the back window clean in the rain? The proper exhaust pipe that exits behind the left rear wheel should keep the fumes out.
 
Yeah, unfortunately though I set up the exhaust to exit out the rear valence though some 1970 challenger tips, so to move the exhaust would be out of the picture.
 
They looks real cool. I had on one of my old 65 Dart 270 wagon and boy were they cool. However that car had A/C and the roof section was so rusted out that after 2 years of drivning it it almost fell apart!! SO I had to partit out. I felt so sorry for it since it had a bunch of rare options;

4-speed
A/C
Power steering
Roof rack
Radio w/antenna
Wind deflector
Back-up lights
Outside adjustable mirror
N/D rearview mirror
Front seat belts
Two tone paint blue w/white roof

The wind deflectors also took of the snow during winter time.
 
Dang, 4 speed wagon with a v8? That's gotta be a rare one.
 
You don't happen to know the production numbers for 66 darts do you?
 
My wagon has factory exhaust deflectors like you just purchased. I also have rear valance exhaust exit (previous owner) but have not had problems with fumes...too much. My motor needs rebuilt so no amount of "deflection" will solve that. I tend to drive with rear window 3/4 down and rear passenger windows up and my front windows down...seems to create a nice draft through the car...
