I heard that on the news and I was thinking it would've been really funny if after the judge smacked the gavel, he whipped out a Twinkie and ate it

But what about all the people who don't put away for retirement that bought all those Twinkies as investment capital? You mean that wasn't fiscally sound?!!!?

What am I going to do with the twinkies that I bought to sell on ebay in a few years???

Sold mine and shipped them to Colorado-Was that you that bought them Lead????

Wow..... $21,000,000 that one guy wants for his Hostess crap! I wouldn't pay a dollar for it.

It'll be another pay back deal to the union. Obama will force them to sell to the Mexicans and give part ownership to the union - just like he did with Chrysler. Then we'll have yet another historic US company owned by a foreign country and the union bosses and kept alive by government (taxpayer) money....

Check out what some of the corporate execs gave themselves for raises recently after stock posting 88% drop! Lousy #@!x*&#@!

Here you go
These people are the ones that felt they deserved a raise, know any of them?

Pay Increases…For Some…As the Company Slowly Goes Under

As the company was asking for more givebacks from workers, a group of creditors said in court papers that the company “may have manipulated its executives’ salaries higher in the months leading up to its Chapter 11 filing,” again according to the WSJ. According to the creditors’ court filing, the following Hostess executives saw substantial salary increases in July 2011:

Brian Driscoll, CEO, from around $750,000 to $2,550,000
Gary Wandscheider, EVP, $500,000 to $900,000
John Stewart, EVP, $400,000 to $700,000
David Loeser, EVP, $375,000 to $656,256
Kent Magill, EVP, $375,000 to $656,256
Richard Seban, EVP, $375,00o to $656,256
John Akeson, SVP, $300,000 to $480,000
Steven Birgfeld, SVP, $240,000 to $360,000
Martha Ross, SVP, $240,000 to $360,000
Rob Kissick, SVP, $182,000 t0 $273,008
[Note: The WSJ article observes that some executives did not take the full raise.]

I just Googled "Hostess executives saw substantial salary increases" and I got three hits, the first from that well known unbiased "news site" Mingle.com, a free online dating site. The second was another "unbiased site" Teamsters26.org. Of course we all know how trustworthy the Teamsters Union news is going to be. The last "news site" was stonecharm.tumbler.com a website who is pushing for legalization of marijuana. I usually get my news from one of the communists at ABC (Anyone But Christians) NBC (Nothing But Communists) and CBS (Communist Bull Sh%$. For some reason none of them reported this "news."

I am not a subscriber to the Wall Street Journal so I could not get their report but the headline was very innoculous.
