Hello Fellow FABOers,
I am lookin for a Driver Condition Passenger Side mirror to put on my Dart
I would like it to be in same or better condition than the drivers side one on the car
Can have a few pits but the chrome must still be shiny

So anything you have toss up a few pics and a price or shoot me a PM and can give you my email

I had a thread just like this a couple months ago.

Reproductions are about $125, new. USED originals (even in nice driver condition) sell for $300ish.

Just something to think about.

Thats what I was afraid of. Really not lookin to buy a new set of Mirrors.

Even one with pitting but still shines would be fine. Guess will find out what is out there.

What's out there is nothing. Very few of these cars got right door mirrors.
Hollywood didn't have one for the last Dukes of Hazard movie. LOL
Last OEM mirror is saw on a donor car was a 75 model highly equipped like Brougham maybe. Top side of its base was rotted clear through.
Some have went to much trouble and/or expense to get that mirror then mount it wrong rendering it useless.
Good hunting though

They are the same mirrors used on the 68-70 B Bodies and C Bodies they werent exclusive to A bodies
It is the same as the normal cable operated mirror on many other body styles

Everyone is hunting for that mirror and most know what they fit so that drives the price through the roof on OEM mirrors.

No passenger side cable mirrors in that style.

Yes I was refering to the cable opperated driver side mirror that A B and C bodies had
Only cable operated ine were on FMJ bodies of the
 
I built my own remote mirror with the long cable from a 87 Gran Fury. The control wand fits into a dash mounted ignition switch bezel nicely too.
3 mirrors required to do this though.

What we are saying is that a nice, new, reproduction, will cost less than a crappy, pitted, scratched, original.
 
I found a pretty nice original at the Nats last year. $100 They are hard to find but nice when installed.

I bought bumpers from that guys 4 years ago they are holding up very nice and he was good to deal with.

From what I've heard, the chrome is extremely thin on these mirrors ( and everything else now repoped in China. Its pretty when new but will not stand up to wind and wear like OEM did.
 
There is a set both sides on Ebay right now ; less than $75.00 driver quality.

I bought the same repo mirror and it looks just like the drivers side original.

I got lucky and found a right side at mopar nats in Minn. this year so don't need one now, $20.00 w/ nice chrome and very few pits, hope the one on Ebay is nice.

I also bought the same one 3 years ago and it is holding up perfectly. I get a lot of things from the same people. They ship fast and their prices are normally the best. I had one mishap with them and the shipped me the correct one with a return label for the wrong part. Hows that for customer service!

Indeed that is an excellent deal just for the right. With the left included - excellent! Pay the 75 or it will go away if you wait.
