Not to be picky but I think it's strong money for a car that only came with a 440 but doesn't have a 440 in it. It's beautiful - might be worth some cash to fix that.

Price reflects the 383 engine. Most of the ones for sale are at around 27 to 35 K.

Thanks,i was having 2nd thoughts on the color before it was cleared.Pretty happy with the outcome being it was painted right here in my shop with no booth.

I cant believe someone would put a 383 in that, that makes me want to puke, watching auctions that car wont do over 15k with a 383. But it could do over 30 with a correct motor.

Well Mr wants to puke sometimes money dictates the choice of engine.I could have easily put some smogger 175hp slug of a 440 in it but it came with the nice running 383 so that's what was used.Sometimes i don't get it,its ok to put a 440 in a 383 car?But not ok to go the other way? What would you rather have?I know the 383 would be my choice over some slug so there you have it.

People that don't understand basic forum for sale ad etiquette or basic manners makes the rest of us want to puke.

Really nice car. GLWS.

Most if not all 383 cars at least had the option of a 440 or hemi so thats ok. Now you have a nice car but wrong engine, I wish you luck with your sale, Im just not your buyer.

It's a nice car. Anybody says different is a ghey *** pole smoking jiz swallowin SOB.

I think it will do a little more than 15k but you probably know your stuff tekslk owning a notch when the fastbacks are way more sought after.

Car is beautiful.. Many here only have the window to throw it out yet not the pot to piss in..
Anyone can plainly see the price is right. So in reality if someone has a 68 440 HP engine like I do, they can buy that car along with my motor for another 5 grand and have themselves exactly what's needed to make an easy 5 grand on top of it and have a spare 383..

Good luck with the sale
