Our club president wants our car club to start selling flat brim ball caps that have our club logo. I think the only reason that he wants us to carry them is because he wants one for his teenage son. I'm not sure that there is a big demand among the youth for Mopar caps so I thought I'd check with you guys. Do any of your car clubs sell flat brim ball caps with club logos, and if you do, do you sell many?

I think they look stupid. Years ago I always bent the **** out a hat that didn't have a curved brim.

I hate ball caps. I certainly wouldn't ever a flat brim one. If I had to wear one, it would be the curved brim. That flat brim is gonna make you look like a gangsta wannabe.

That said, I love hats. I have several. A hat is supposed to serve a purpose. I am very fair skinned so I look for a full brim had. I like stuff like this:

Not really much more than a high quality gangsta wannabe hat, but will actually DO something on your head instead of only lookin stupid.

I have two hats from fabo black. one for good and one for workin and yes I bent the **** outta the peak.

Great if you like the ghetto punk look. I always threaten to form the brow of my nephew's flat billed ones!!!!

I understand it's "in style" for the young kids now - just as mullets were were back in the 80's!!!! I personally wouldn't wear one!

It's fine if you like shading your ear instead of your eyes.
What's next? Pants on the ground?

This is what I wear now. Kaki in the summer. Blue in the winter.
Never will wear a baseball cap again.
Hate the band in back of a one size fits all baseball cap.
And the brim actually keeps your head warmer in the winter and shades in the summer.
You can put it in your pocket.

And they couldn't turn the brim the wrong way.

I have a couple of Stetsons for that very purpose. I wear them when I'm going to be in the sun light for extended periods of time. During the summer I usually wear hats made straw. Cooler, and lighter, and do serve the purpose.

this is where its at now

Not a hat guy, but have to wear one now when out in the sun

NO WAY IN HELL WOULD I WEAR A FLAT BRIM HAT

Like my ball caps to fit that means if has contour like your head. The older caps that didn't have the curve built in we either curved it or folded it to make the curve

But for me a straw hat is hat of choice in the summer, ball cap on bad hair day or driving

I wear mine primarily in bad weather. Snow, rain, etc. Mine doesn't curve at the sides but is flat all the way around with a slight dip just over my eyes. It's better than an umbrella and more practical.

You guys crack me the hell up.....LOL Those flat-brimmed hats are pathetic,

This is how I roll out here in the desert....I'd be crazy not to.

I don't seem to have a lot in common with the flat brim crowd and the those things don't fit my head.

Your club president wants to use club money to fund a financially unsound, project to serve a single special interest, at community expense.

Just like "real" elected officials.

Whoomp! there is is. lol

...and i didn't bring it up, either. :hello2:

Maybe those kids that wear those flat billed hats are the future "Mopar gear heads". My son wears one (he is 13) when he is in my shop with me working on the Dart. He could wear a pink feather boa if he wanted as long as we are spending time together I don't care.

...and make sure you get extra-strong adhesive on the stickers so they never come off and get the hats 4 sizes too big so they look like you're wearing your father's cap and cover the tops of your ears.

STUPID LOOKING HATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, now that that's out of my system, my Inland Mopars club doesn't have club hats. We have t-shirts, sweatshirts, and jackets, but leave hats up to the individual members preference.

Since I'm an advocate of individual freedoms I wasn't going to vote, but then I also thought about the right of free speech and decided that you can add my vote to the stupid column.

I've wore ball caps for as long as I can remember. My bills are curved and cover my eyes not my neck.Hate the flat bill look. Looks dorkey to me.
