Nice pictures toolmanmike. I especially like the Dodge Lancer! Jayson

Here's another. A early photo. Tom McEwen (Mongoose)

This car is sitting in Spokane Washington at a friend of mines shop. Hot Rod said it was rusting out in Seattle, but that's not true. It is alive and well, still looks good, waiting for a hemi to go back in

This car was at the Nats last summer. I don't know if it is a tribute or a original restored. Either way it is cool. Imagine pulling into a local cruise in driving one of these. tmm

The original car has a hemi in the back, this is a tribute, well sort of.

if this is the original car, it was in don garlits drag race musuem for YEARS,,, since i dont know if the owner is on this forum, i wont sling any dirt, but i do know the story of why it is no longer at the musuem, i went there just to see this cuda,, surprised when i got there it was not,,, i was lucky enough to be in don garlits personal garage, and asked him where it was,,the end,,

Yes, this is the original car. Yes, I saw it at Garlits museum many years back also. Dana bought it from Garlits.....Not sure I understand the "won't sling any dirt" comment, whether he is on this forum or not? Dana is a very good friend of mine. I shared the pic with him, of the tribute car, and said it was very nice.
There is some issue with he and Garlits, it has something to do with the purchase of the car involving the engine. I don't bring it up, because he gets real uptight talking about it, so I don't ask, and don't tell.
Remember, there are always 2 sides to every story, even if it is Don, someone I admire dearly.

Here's one I just gleaned from Facebook. Damn serious! tmm
