The easy fix would be to switch valve covers. With those ribs in there I dont think you can just drill a hole.

I know ford small blocks had a oil filler cap with a PCV valve on top of it( 80's). Or drill a hole in your oil filler cap , install grommet and valve

I don't know for sure but I don't think a PCV valve and breather cap in the same location will work. If you don't mind having a oil stain on your valve cover below that breather cap, you don't absolutely have to have a PCV valve. The crankcase will inhale and exhale through the breather.

You could have someone machine a round flat area on the opposite side of that Offy emblem and then drill a hole in the center of it. It could be accomplished with a dremel tool also. I used a dremel tool to modify a pair of M/T finned valve covers. I needed to accommodate some vintage M/T breathers that I installed.

I drilled my offy cover on the flat part where the fins end towards the rear of the head. Theres a mod I followed on slantsix.org. I used the delco breather with the pcv valve hole in it. Requires 2 gaskets, one for the head, one for the breather hole for pcv.

If you don't think you can get through the top ribbed part, can you do an upper side? Flat surface there...
