If some of you are so inclined, please say a little prayer for my Wife and her family.

The patriarch of the family (my father in-law) passed this morning at 6:25.

He has been battling cancer for the last 5 years, and about a year ago he finally said enough and stopped treatments after the doc said it wasn't working. At that time he was told by the doc that he might last 3 months, well, he made it a year. Stubborn old boy he was.

He was 80.

He was a great guy, always extending a helping hand at the drop of a hat for anyone who needed it and quietly did so without expecting anything in return, just the way he was, he would give you the shirt off his back.

Cancer SUCKS!

And what's worse it seems like it attacks people that just don't deserve it.

My respects to the family, God can give all strength...

Prayers to you and yours, Cancer is horrifying. My ex just passed away at 55........very sad.

Very sorry to read this Bruce. Condolences sent to your wife & family.....

Condolences to the family.

More and more people are getting cancer. They need to find a cure ASAP. It seems like someone in every family has lost someone to this horrible disease, including me.

Prayers sent for peace and comfort for your entire family! May God place His hand on the hearts of all who knew this man, and allow his memory to be a joyous one for all! He sounds like he was a great guy!! Geof

It's tough losing a loved one, especially to cancer.
My thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

So sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers to your family - may God comfort you during this difficult time.
I lost my father-in-law to cancer 2 years ago. Cancer is horrible.
Hang in there!

I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Sounds like your father inlaw was a very special man. I lost my dad to cancer over 30 years ago he was 57. Horrible thing to watch a loved one go thru that much pain. The last few weeks of his life I would give him morphine shots every 4 hours. I found myself praying for the lord to take him home. He was a real good man just like your father in law.

prayers for you and your family. stay strong, your wife is going to need you.

Respects and prayers to the whole family.
We know the feeling. Wife lost dad to cancer 7 months ago. Still hurting.

Sorry for your loss Bruce, special thoughts going to you and the family.
