A boy and his Station Wagon..

The wagon is looking great man! I just ran across a couple pictures of your wagon when we pulled it out of the bar it was in. Not the best, but its the first time it had seen daylight in a long time.

Had that tranny in my 65 Dart wagon. Had to put buckets in it because I am short. Mine had the straighter lever on it and hit the ash trey in 1st

Had? Did you switch it for something else? I believe that this is the original 64-65 style handle that came with these cars with 4 speeds, before the 'Inland' style ones in 66.

Couple updates, crazy I know.. But FINALLY went to work and put the 4 speed in its new home. Also still working on the front end/disc setup. Soon it will be ready to haul off to the alignment shop! Also fired it up for the first time in months and it started instantly when I turned the key, it wants to go!

Car is at the shop for a custom drive-shaft! Hopefully it will be drivable soon!

Drove the wagon to a local carshow a week ago, still working little issues out of it. Now Im second guessing the mustang wheels. After I get some cash saved up I think I'm going to buy a set of these Cragars.

Now the question is, polished or matte gray.. I'm leaning towards polished.

You know what they say about opinions...but to me those Cragars look more "mustang-y" than the Mustang wheels you're using now...at least in pics what you've got on there gives it more personality and soul.

Whatever you decide, you've built yourself a hell of a nice wagon and I would love to have it!

Funny Bob, I'm in enough trouble as it is. I would rather have a car then a girl these days.. :evil4:

Your car had turned out great man! Whats next?

Working out the little issues. It still needs to go to the alignment shop. Before I drive it much more I need to figure out what I want to do with the wheels. I had to add a 5/16 spacer to the front to get the wheels away from the tie rod ends, and now I feel that its unsafe with the lugnuts only holding on by 4 threads.. So I either need to change wheels and tires or press longer lugs into the rotors. I'm also running really low on funds at the moment, so time will tell.

Can't you get the longer bolts that race cars normally use? They are way much longer.

**** man change those studs or wheels 4 threads is not enuff personally id go back to the rallys they suit the sleeper look much better

I would do that but those rallys are small bolt pattern, now the car is large bolt pattern.
