I haven't seen this tailgate before ?

Never saw one before along with diesel dual exhaust on a slant! Cool truck though

Fargo is the Canadian version. Little Red Express was red. Warlock was black or other colors and could be ordered in 2 or 4 wheel drive with a choice of engines. The Little red's were 2 wheel drive/360 trucks only.

I appreciate that and I was hip to some of that other stuff just hadn't seen this Fargo before. So it's a Canadian Red Express? Again like mentioned a slant six with diesel Stacks? This definitely sounds Canadian LOL

It's just a Fargo stepside, that has been modified to the owners tastes. I don't know if Warlocks could be had with a /6? The stacks and wood on the bed are similar to what Lil Reds and Warlocks came with.

there's a gal here in the neighborhood that has a warlock it's like a faded black with a faded yellow pinstripe and no wood.

Sounds about right. Most of the Warlocks I have ever seen are either Black or Dark Green. A guy I worked with had a brother that had a Dark Green 4WD Warlock with a 440, and it had the wood. I'm not sure, but maybe the wood on the sides of the bed was an option. I've seen Warlocks both with, and without the wood, and back in the day when they were too young to have been messed with.

.
Almost all were 360s but there were 2 built with 440s.

There were other trucks that followed the theme with pin striping included that were NOT Warlocks or Expresses. There was an Orange one with Black pin stripes a few years ago east of Harrisburg PA. $400 but the frame was rusted at the gas tank. I still kick myself for not buying it. You could order a lot of things back then. And yep Fargo is Canadian.

.
Can't tell what it is on my phone. But it is listed in Portland so you could go check it out.
are you suggesting I call this person and drive across town so I can try and pOke in the garage to see what else they have? That's a big ...NO! LOL

I agree I don't know if they're home jobs or what but I've seen some other great stuff on some of the older trucks the Macho's and others.

NO! How can you say NO?
Where is your sense of Adventure?

It's right in your back yard. Who else but you can do this?

Thot all warlocks were 440`s !!

They may have been? I have no idea because I never paid em much attention back in the day. Around the time those trucks were new, I was 20 years old and had a 73 340 Rallye Challenger. All I was interested in was making that thing faster, and chasing girls....lol. Didn't have time for some new truck with wood and pin stripes.

Fargo was the name that was given to all the export Dodge Trucks not just Canadian. I spent 35 years at Warren Truck and one of the jobs that I had was to install the exhaust stacks in my repair stall on the lil red express, the midnight express, and some of the warlocks because they were never completed on the assembly line. I believe you are right, seems to me that the lil red express trucks all came with the 360 motor, and some midnight express's which were a very dark blue, and some warlocks had the 440's in them along with the 360's and the 4 bbl carb's. It's been a long time since I used to build them and I can remember that on non production week end's me and some of the gang would go out in the back 40 behind Warren Truck and we would race each other with them until one of the guys wrecked one, that put the stop to that.

Same here , I was into hemi`s then, if u didn`t have an elephant , u weren`t s--- !
No, not so much !! LOL

Warlocks had wood bed extensions that fitted into the stake pockets but no wood bolted to the bed or exhaust stacks. They came with gold wheels and Red Express style pin stripes.

Paint was metal flake black and you could delete the word "Warlock" on the tailgate, which got you the word "Dodge".

There was also a "Warlock II" edition.

A friend of mine bought a new '77 black Warlock off the lot in Billings with a slant six in it. His came with dual exhaust stacks and oak bed rails. I think the 78 Midnight Express is the one that had wood affixed to the box
