Sorry, I cut myself off. I was going to say, that I HAVE purchased a 72 Dodge Colt that is a old Pro stock car in the 70's. Rebuilding this car to race again and thought there may be more people out there that are doing the same, but also to learn more about the colts and MOPAR PEOPLE. THANKS.
I merged your threads to avoid confusion. I always wanted to take an old race car and put it back on the street. Colts and Arrows were always favorites.

Hey Welcome! I travelled from Texas to Ohio in Dec of 2016 to look at the Green Colt. It wasn't exactly what I was looking for so I didn't get it. Sometimes I wish I had. Good luck with your project, maybe someday I will start mine!
That’s awesome. You must really have the itch for the Colt. I bought this coat from Craig and Ohio and we still remain friends. He turned me onto a 1971 coat that is shown in the pictures I have on the form. Really believe this is a true old pro stock car that I am willing to rebuild and to race next season. Parts are hard to fine for these cars 71 through 73. Met Paul and sale for tourists from Pontiac Michigan that is running a 950 colt that is a true cold from the day. They ran this car for 35 years. Hope to stir up the people with these colts to bring them out again to show and Shine are just showing go. Thanks for your response will keep in touch as I build the car so stay tuned, and good luck with your build.

Yea, Craig. He was a real nice guy, up front and honest about the car. Looks like you are getting it ready to go. Do you know anything about the 71 Pro Car? Any history?

That’s what lm working on. I believe by talking to other colt owners that it came from Georgia. Looking forward to getting this car done and to find history out about other cultures wherever they may be. Be sure to stay in touch on your progress with your car as well.
It’s good to fine out history about this old cars. When I was 16 years of age I had a 65 barracuda 273 four barrel for speed factory. Had a lot of fun with that car. Only paid $300 for that thing. But my first Mopar was a 64 dart convertible Red with a black convertible top. My dad sold that car cause he made some good money laugh out loud. Also use my hot rods that I have which is a 32 Ford Vicky blown and a 66 Chevy C 10 panel truck in a ministry that I have called God’s Speed Shop. My hope is to use the Colt at the track to promote the gospel. Going to call the Colt the narrow way . Have a good night everyone.
