I have a 67 Dart pro street car that I run at Test/Tune opportunities. Otherwise it is street driven around the area. Engine is 383 bored and stroked to 496. Forged pistons, Trick Flow 240 heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, .564/295 Comp Cam. Currently I have a Holley 850 double pumper.
What brand, size, model carb would you guys recommend for this combo?

Car has 4.10 rear now. 4.56 is in hand and going in this winter.
Tires are 31 tall.

I always wanted to run a pair of 2bbls adapted to a 2x4 manifold. But you can't really run them in progressive............ lol

I have two two barrels on my Hemi with progressive linkage.

Stay with what you have the 850 will be fine.Being this is a street car, you will have better throttle response and drivability. The 950 might show a bit more top end power at the track, but will be doggy on the street. with a 31" tall tire and 4.56 gears you should go through the top end at 6500 rpm i had that combo in my camaro.

How much converter do you have? at least a 4500 stall.

If you want max performance on your street car, then a 1050Dominator with skirted boosters would be your friend. I have a street 511 with 1150 Dom. Very streetable and as good of street manners as a 600 holley. Contact Dom@Thumpercarbs. He will hook you up with a carb tested on his Dart before he sends it.

the throttle response on my 505 is unbelieveable w/ a single plane and a 1200 cfm throttle body, it revs as fast as my ex 406 sbc.

Same here. Dom really knows Dominators.
Almost wish I had gone the big carb. route, I can`t run a cam big enough to suit me w/ my existing f.i. system.
Traction w/ this car is my next project.
Amazing how much our cars look alike/except for the hood scoop !

Yeah. Mines viper blue notch

I follow Dominic on Facebook and his stuff is awesome! Looks like jewelry.
Yeah, like jewelry and performs right out of the box. Only screw i turned was the throttle screw about a 1/4 turn to idle faster. Later i had a lean transition that i cleaned up with different T slot jet. No big deal. Everyone has a different combo and will require a turn of the throttle screw or mixture screws or perhaps jets. Dom gets them right on or atleast very close.
