I want 2 doors on my Ramchargers...... They missed on who drives them, and why. That would appeal to a whole new crowd, not the Ramcharger crowd we know currently

I like the newer trucks but they are becoming too rounded, just like all the modern cars. I prefer a bit more of a squared and muscular look.

I think it's terrible. Looks like a Mopar version of the Suburban. Hideous.

Sure, but Chevy has the suburban, ford the expedition, mopar has nothing with a third row AND room for a gallon of milk in the trunk

They HAD the Durango but it was a total POS. Not only does that concept look like a Suburban wannabe, but it also has the same basic hood as the Ford Super Duty Trucks. It's a swing and a BIG miss.

Oh and Chevy only has the Suburban because Mopar sold them the rights to the name. Suburban was MOPAR first.

That's where the gallon of milk comes in
Space wise, the 3rd row Durango is closer to an equinox, and smaller then an Acadia

I'm not sure if mopar ever had a vehicle that would fit my families needs (one wife, three kids and her mom lives with us)
I would NOT be able to go grocery shopping with them in a Durango

Too many doors . My daughter just leased a new Durango last week . It's nothing more that a Jeep Grand Cherokee with different sheet metal . Seventy computers and it won't get itself out of a puddle .

We have a second generation Durango(2008) bought new.
It seats eight. Now 6' plus 300 pounders will not be happy unless they're in the front seat.
I think the same year Grand Cherokees had 10" shorter wheelbase, don't think it'll seat eight.
Ours has about 170k miles and has been almost trouble-free.
Very little cargo space with the 3rd seat up.
Easily one of the best vehicles we've ever had.

Come on guys-
Dodge has never been practical. It’s always been the black sheep of the big three.
They build speciality vehicles not like Chevy and Ford who build to accommodate everyone. Like a 2 door Challenger is a family ride. Seats 5, yea right. Only reason for back seat is insurance reasons. The 7passenger Durango also- speciality rig not family a real family ride. Especially now that Fiat owns them. There is no money in building family rides. You are buying an image a really cool image not practical.

Wow.... I am surprised at the responses . I think it looks great! Way better than a few of the past Fugly Dakotas and Durangos !

Very clean lines without being boring or non descript.

Nothing would satisfy some of the old codgers on this site.
I think its a good start. Lose some of the chrome, add some black wheels with some T/A Ko2's. Put the Hellcat motor, or maybe even the Helephant motor in it, and get the puck out of the way !!!

Honestly I don’t mind the look. I just do not like the Toyota- ish front end. The new 2019 truck looks like an import. I own many Dodge trucks for business and the last 2018 2500 I bought still looks rugged. I’m glad I did because it matches the fleet. I’m afraid to purchase 2019 and above for the next 3500 because they look so wimpy. Nissan, Toyota, Chevy, Even the Fords all are very boring and have no appeal to me that is. These are only my opinion. But wait- Chevy is sucking wind, Ford Toyota and Nissan also are sucking wind In a great economy. Let’s see how Dodge / Ram fairs in this. People are getting tired of the pregnant roller skate bubbles and trucks that look more for operas than work. Okay- off soap box.

Just remember, the concept is supposed to compete with the Suburban and the older Expeditions. Mopar has never had a full sized 4 door carry-all with lots of room. This one will probably never get built.
We take a buddies "Burb" to the Nats every year. Even with 6 full sized guys it's a comfortable ride with plenty of room for parts on the trip back home. A couple years ago there were 4 of us and I brought a trunk lid home along with a bunch of other goodies.

I think it will get built. The demand for Suburbans is still high and they are the only game in town right now. The Dodge version will sell.
