When should you upgrade torsion bars?

In addition to sub-frame connectors I'd also strongly consider everything available to help stiffen the chassis. Check out US Car Tool (Mopar) for torque boxes, radiator core support stiffener, and inner fender braces. Anything you can add to help eliminate chassis flexing will add to your A-body longevity.

i have read this before...can't see how the u bolt tension could affect a pack of springs that don't move between the u bolts?
But i could see someone over tightening to the point the thin axle housing could be compromised.
