What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

My bulb was out in my vintage tach. I used a power probe and watched the voltage go up and down on the light socket while testing it.

I rigged up an old stereo. This is my favorite Pioneer model, simply because it has FM built into it. These Kenwood speakers I have had in about 15 different vehicles! Generally trucks as they blast the bass right through the seat. But they really rock when they are out in the open! Tomorrow when I go rod this beast for the first time, I'll have tunes.

It has a different hood and a windshield now, I only have this pic though.

I went back in the woods today and got measurements off an original 70 340 dart hood so I can drill the holes for my demon. I hadn't looked at this car in 30 years, its not gone completely back to mother nature yet.:)

Just finished the engine mounts and got the 440 where I want it. Shortened the driveshaft. Splurged on a Lokar floor shifter, kickdown and accelerator brackets. Arrived today like Christmas.

Those speakers don’t look big enough, there’s still room on the back seat to sit!

Nice, I had that same stereo in a mustang many many years ago. Loved it till someone broke into the car and destroyed it while trying to steal it.

Success today, Finished up the Borgeson steering box install. (almost)
Anyway, its all back together, filled the system and ran the car a bit, then refilled. Took it for a short drive just to the gas station and back.
The steering feels great, nice and tight, no slop in the middle anymore. But I think tomorrow I need to recheck my tow-in.
It's recommended that you do that anyway, and it seems a bit too towed in now.

Any hissing noises as posted by others using the BAC coupler?

Streetcar Takeover kicks off it's season today in Kansas City. They're expecting around 2000 cars plus spectators. Should be a good time! If you see me, come up and say hello.
