Stop in for a cup of coffee

Talked to Jimmy last night. He'll be over this weekend to hopefully get the car running smooth.
Based on what he knows of the car he said:
Spark plug set up is off one.
Spark plug end is not on right.
Points somehow are loose.
I told him it was probably either one or two. They are new spark plug wires and are a PITA to seed onto the cap.

Check the points screw the can come loose in the mail, no lock washers on them. Your new dwell meter will tell that story.

And Jimmy being the old MOPAR wrench he is will know what the readings should be.

So i fired up my power wagon, discovered the fuel pump crapped out. They sure build crap these days. It only lasted 22 years:lol:

‘32 chevy coming for a tune up next week. From 50 miles away.
Guy isnt happy with his local mechanics.hope its nothing major. Think some guy changed the umbrella valve seals.

Ray know you don't back read yesterday I read an article here in the "How to section" for restoring stainless trim.
I took the boot snap trim off around the back window and spent about three hours yesterday cleaning it up. Easy peasy!!
Went out last night and did the door trim runs front to back along the top edge of the door. Cleaned up in five minutes.
I could tell previous owner must of worn a watch with all the little scratches in the metal. Nothing on the passenger side.

Whats every one up to? Think TJ has the best though. Me just want to finish the truck and get it back on the road.

I had to weld up a pontoon boat part for a guy yesterday. Finely crafted extruded "Aluminum type" substance. The Chinese guys added some kind of alloy to make it more malleable for extrusion. Rendered it on the edge of unweldable. Closer to pot metal than actual aluminum. Kind of like some of the old AMF Harley parts from back in the day. Customer was drunk and ran into his dock with the awning up. It was a total PITA. Good morning all.
