Stop in for a cup of coffee

Im still exhausted from the 3 days of fun last weekend at Mopars in the Park. I've got to say the group of A body guys that show up and hang together are just like family!

Well. All the stone work is done. Everything is filled, graded and seeded. The fill around the edge where the slope meets the patio is 2’ deep compacted large stone and composite. It will never wash out.

Paid them the final check tonight. It is worth every penny!

That looks really nice Dd, the pride in there work shows.
It does indeed. Even more so, the owner decided that he didn’t like the way water was laying on the patio between the walk-up basement and deck (it was about 1/8” deep in the middle after being hosed down).

He told me he didn’t like it and it wasn’t up to his standards. So he had his crew remove, relevel and reinstall the entire area. I never said a word or asked for it. His own pride in work drove him.

That is a true professional craftsman who take complete pride in what he does.

Here's what things look like today at my property. The big boulder was unearthed when they dug the RV dump, they had to move it cause it was where the shop dig out was to be. They dug the hole for the house and stacked a couple more logs on this pile (not pictured). Glad I came out when they marked the shop, neighbor pointed out HOA says 30 foot set back, not the 15 foot we had, adjustments were made, more fun to come I'm sure : )

Make use of that rock

Last I recall landscape boulders were $60/ton and that looks like a 1 1/2- 2 tonner.
When we crushed the dang things they were worth $12/ton, go figger

WOOOHOOO!

Perfect timing, I just went to see one of those after work. A 66 valiant, 2 door hardtop.
It is for sale and that is main reason the guy wanted me to look at it, thinking he might have a sure sale.

I declined, so if anyone is in the market....I know of a real clean one

Was it a 4 speed???

My younger boy may be looking for an early a-body with a 4 speed... Wants to sell his 65 Barracuda and get a 4 speed a-body....

[WANTED] - A-body Mopar with a 4-speed manual transmission

And Good Morning to you Ben. Friday for me has always been one of those days you make it whatever you can.
And might I add another hot and humid day here also, but beats cold and snow anytime!!

Hey guys! Full day of UBER here today in the firechicken to boot! Cobalt needs brakes again!

Hey Ray...
Get that truck running?? Last I heard it was the furl pump??

Still kicking my *** just ordered a independent pump like I wanted to do in the first place. Should be interesting with the dog in the convertible today with the top down. Prob have to keep a leash on her at first to be safe. Going to get her nails clipped at Petco when she is at the dentist.
