Dave, you missed my 4 trips to town, 8 times stopped at a real long traffic light.
 
Just came back in from watering the grass seed in the areas around the new stone work. Some is starting to sprout and I want to give it a good chance of surviving. It’s the wrong time of year to try to get too serious about it, but if I can get at least some of it to grow, it will make it that much easier when I really try to get it established at the end of Summer.

Adjusting to the 'new' normal is gonna take a bit of time. Still get to enjoy some whiskey and relax when I come home, but now there's a load of laundry and vacuuming dog hair as part of my evening. I think I'm gonna get this all figured out. Just got to adjust to different..

Glad I got all you guys to vent to...
 
OK.
I wrote an invoice, installed used lockset door knobs on my neighbor's back door, and wasted a bunch of time figuring out what's the best I can do for phone service and internet.
 
Bonus! I just found that the stone guy had rolled up all the sod they cutout and put it under the far side of the deck behind the planters. We just spent the past hour pulling it out and cutting it in around the back patio. It helps a lot!

So get this: the state CSM calls me, state is offering me a 20,000 cash, lump sum for a 6 year extension... so I’m curious and tell him to email me the offer sheet... only good for soldiers if they have 13 years, 0 months time in service. I have 14 years. Not eligible. Nice try though huh?

Yep, it was a nice bonus. Not a lot of it was very useful but we got about 40 sq ft that was.

I just wasn’t really recovered enough from the weekend work to deal with it easily, but with my wife’s help we got it done!

Yeah it does. How’s the boys handling things?
 
Tomorrow’s work got done today, so back on trailer detail.
Get hyd pump bolted down and build a battery tray.
Time to break out the angle iron worker. Going to re-work the notcher though, change the big press screw to 10 ton hydraulic jack. (Air jack)should work slick.
 
Double score today. I got my John Deere rider deck straightened after hitting a stump with the blades. $40 The guy that did it used to own my Swinger. He has a NOS 70 Swinger grille he will sell me for $300. Double score!!!
 
I’m off. Gonna do the hotrod power tour tomorrow so need to catch some shut eye
