It would be difficult if not impossible...wait, it would be impossible!
Maybe subframe K-member off restoration....:p

Id say 20K overpriced for that body style but that is just me.

Well, in theory, it could be done if you removed all the frame rails and crossmembers and then welded them back in! Technically, the frame would be “off” the body!!!!

Whoever writes the ad copy has no clue what they are describing. You'll see this same terminology for Camaros and Firebirds all the time too. I think if you remove the subframe (K-frame) from the uni-body, as well as all the other bolt on "chassis" parts, you can still say "frame-off" and most everyone will understand what you mean.

The 'Frame' is the K-member, some years list them on the broadcast sheets.

I gotten past this eons ago, read past them and move on, maybe not the most technically correct term but everybody knows what they are refereeing to.

Someone (potential buyer) that may not know Mopars might understand the term frame-off and understand that it implies a detailed restoration.

I also feel Rotisserie Restoration may not be the best answer as the shell may have only be put on rollers and not actually on a rotisserie.

Frame-off has become synonymous with a full detailed restoration, the reality is if you pull the k-member you have removed the frame (maybe only a portion).

Again, move on.

goes right along with calling them restorations while going SB 7-1/4 auto to BB 5speed dana. "frame off" is because these people are really chevy guys

that is a pretty car though...
