OK, didn't build this thing, 65 Dart GT, 79 360, trunion 4 speed, 7 1/4, has the hump, vin says /6. I haven't dealt with SB's except Poly's, how do Ya think they put this together?

That transmission will bolt to any v8 bellhousing. The 360's are externally balanced and would either need to be overhauled and internally balanced or use a external balanced flywheel. They probably used the 360, flywheel, clutch and bellhousing out of a doner truck.

UH, cheeseburger cheeseburger, cheeseburger, but, NO cheeseburger for U !, so sayeth Belushi, so let it be done.

Yep.
I'm gettin mine on the road with 9.5 clutch
Cause it was all new.5.2 magnum swap.
Next if I keep car 10.5 clutch setup with hydraulic slave with short headers.

Cheese Burger & fries? Any pics?
All you have stated is workable.

Yes, I know it's workable, at least from the transporter to my driveway, just wondering about the number of teeth on the flywheel, what bellhousing they used, I do know the clutch is extremely hard to push.

I have an 8 3/4 I was gonna build, how will I interface it with the trunion 4 speed?
I thought the trunion was pretty reliable and could handle it.

I have read they have held up to some abuse but there is a conversion slip yoke that can be done to get you to standard driveline bearing cups. A driveline shop should be able to help. Look it up on the interweb...

79 360, ~240hp with a 4bbl
69 318, ~230hp with a 2bbl
65 273, ~235hp with a 4bbl-Commando
Like said;7.25 will be first to go; BUT
if you put a SureGrip into it so it cannot peg-leg, and do not do neutral drops, and install fresh Extreme-Pressure gearoil, plus the SG additive; then the spiders can last a reasonably long time.

All Mopars have a spider to sidegear ratio of 2:1, so anytime that ONE tire is spinning, it will be doing so at TWICE the Speedometer indicated speed. So if the speed-O needle is on 40mph, the wheel is at 80mph, and the one side-gear is stationary, while the other is madly whirring around, and casting it's oil off as fast as it can, and soon yur cooking the oil, which begins at about 250*F on uncontaminated fresh EP gearoil, while those spiders are heating up the crosspin, which can easily begin to seize.
Over-heated oil is full of hard carbon particles and is not a very good lubricant, nor a coolant..
The point is, Peg-Legging is bad.

I think The E89 motors that were in Little Red Express had only a couple ## on block would check into that 78/79 yrs

Should be 130 tooth flywheel for cars, external balanced typically for 360’s (search hard on the internet, you might find them for about $300 still.
Bell-housings as I understand are: big block, early (60’s-75), and a833 OD (76-80’s,90’s) overdrive bellhousing has a larger hole. Truck flywheelsare 143 tooth.?. And I don’t know if the big block guys can use truck flywheels. 10.5” clutch, if you can afford it, get a dual clutch.
Passon Performance and Brewers are the two major 833 four speed stores for Mopar guys but others have parts as well.

I hardto push clutch
On my D300, replace the spring with a lighter spring. Call either Brewers or Passon.

Mixing up gross and net SAE ratings...

A 79 360 might be 240hp net... a 69 318 was 230hp gross but a measly 150hp net.

Ouch.

Thanks for all the input, I was just wondering if this may have been one of those 4 speed /6 cars produced, which means it may have one of those 3.09 transmissions, would one of the transmissions bolt to the bell housing?, I'm gonna be pulling the rear seat out to replace the package tray, hopefully there's a build sheet there.
Like I said before, I don't know who built it, but they musta known something, it even has the flip cap gas cap installed, they made a plate to fill in the thumbwheel radio that I assume it came with, doubt if the dash was transplanted.
