and never really realized just what an absolute masterpiece that damn thing is. It is tremendous. An absolute classic in it's own right.
 
Couple of weeks ago...my daughter...grandson and I were at the Nellis AFB air show...they had a B-52 on display....and the bomb bay doors were opened...we walked under the belly into the Bomb bay...i was explaining to her all the stuff the old bomber could carry...I was telling her about Dr. Stranglove and slim pickens riding the bomb down...one of the pilots hear me talking and said that was their favorite movie....he could have BS me but we had a laugh....
 
We had a whole weeks history class based on that movie. My teacher loved it. Brilliant.
