I can not find a manual disc brake master cylinder. I just converted my 73 from drums to discs in the front so I need to get a new MC. I have had no issue finding ones with big boosters but nothing for manuals.

It says that but is actually not a good replacement - esp for '73
That's the drum brake master they remove the valve from the rear outlet and call it good enough. :(

If that is the case, then don't buy it. I thought the cover may just be symmetrical over 2 different sized reservoirs but get the actual big/little reservoir model. My oversight on believing their applications.

maybe this one>...Raybestos MC36412. Just has pics. specs over to a 76 Volare

Just get a MC for a 73 and newer power brake a-body BUT run it manually.
On my 68 (73 disc brakes & 10 X 2-1/2 rear drums), I've tried 1-1/8, 1-1/32 and the 73 PB cylinders. The 73 was the sweet spot for me.
That Dr. Diff setup is a good deal.

The brakes actually came off a 1980 Aspen so maybe I’ll check some of those out. I just didn’t know if it would bolt to the firewall or if there would be issues with the rod.

Need to go with the proper disc/drum distriubution block and metering valve too.

I have the 1 1/32 that is supposed to be for manual disc on a 73 A body. I also have used the 15/16 master cylinder and it works as well. Let me know

I used Dorman Master Cylinder Part Number: M80266 on my car when I switched from drums to disc on the front.

^^This. Looks clean, no rust outside and inside, reservoir seals, and easier to fill. Add bonus is Cass is awesome!!!

4 wheel manual discs, stock 4 wheel drum dist block----------
1987 DODGE DIPLOMAT , 15/16'' BORE , HAD ONE ON MINE FOR 9ISH YRS , WOULD BE A BIT BETTER W/ A 7/8'' BORE THO .

I wish we could train people to look at Doctor Diffs website before they ask questions. Doctor Diff has the parts that solve more than 50% of the questions on this forum.

That's actually a great starting point.
See if you can then verify the '80 Aspen MC has the same mounting pattern as your car.
Also some years/models the studs are in the MC, others in the firewall, even though the pattern is the same. They can be pressed out of the MC so don't let that be deciding factor if everything else is the same.
Check the outlet sizes.
A little bit more difficult, but you may be able to verify is the stroke and pushrod. It's probably the same but if you can check it, its one less thing to have as question.

The car is going to be on jack stands for a while so I’ll just pull the old one and take it to the parts store with me to compare them.
