Remember from now on, don’t send money through PayPal, friends and family. Hell, I wouldn’t even send my family or friends money anyway. Just chalk it up as a loss and move on.

In the beginning of April I posted here, MOPAR FORUMS & FACEBOOK that I was looking for small block headers. I get this email from this guy saying that e had seen my post on MOPAR FORUMS & that he has a pair of new doug headers that he would sell me. He sent me some pictures & a price. On April 10th he sent me his paypal address & I sent him his money. A couple of days later he emailed me saying sorry but he forgot to add the shipping in the price. So I sent him money to cover the shipping cost. Now I have bought many things from guys here, facebook & other sites. I have always sent it as friends so no fees. Between April 10th & May 10th I emailed him once a week want to know if he sent the headers yet. I always got the same answer. "I will get them sent out in a couple of days ive been so busy" Just the other week I emailed him & said that I was contacting paypal to see if I can get my money back. That I was done & he said "o don't do that if I was scamming you why would I answer your emails" Paypal said that there is nothing they could do. I sent the money as friend. I email him & told him congrats. I have not heard from him since.
MOPAR FORUMS....another name i recognize. Another member here got ripped off there.

I don't understand people sending money for items using "Friends and Family". What's the fees...3%?...seems like cheap insurance to me.

I apologize for what I said DIY. When MY character is questioned, I'll stand up for myself. I'm of poor character cuz of an agreement between 2 consenting people for exchange of parts and money? Gimme a break. I will say that they can pay either way, it's up to them, just add a little extra to cover fees. For me as a buyer I would have to pay a $2.99 CDN fee for using "f n f". So if my purchase is $100 or more it makes sense to pay "f n f" but I know the risks involved. Now if it's under $100 then I may pay "goods and services" and add the extra costs in it's cheaper. 2 consenting adults so gimme a break about character.
