You have a major clue right in the middle.

Take a breather and step away for a bit........
 
You are on step 7 in which you ask God to help you to remove your shortcomings. So.....you are short one chrome valve cover from going on to step 8!
 
I must be really on step one...only 1 pair but I have the matching air cleaner too! Big enough to hide the edelbrock throttle body..

Had to take it down and dust it off...and polish it for the photo. How do you get small scuff marks out of chrome?

How to get small scuff marks out of chrome??? You send it to me. You will never see those marks again. Lol!
 
I had the same wall in my garage with factory chrome big block A-Body valve covers. My garage fire took care of that problem...
 
So......where's the drivers side valve covers? On the opposite wall? LOL. I've got about 5 sets of those things myself, but only one set are new/nos.
