Its called a Tamale.
Corn dough stuffed with pork meat and wrapped in a corn husk leaf. My mom would sell 20-30 dozens easily at the dealership I usto work at.

Christmas tradition here in SoCal. So many different types: pork with red sauce, chicken with green sauce, sweet pineapple.
I'm fixing a standing rib roast for dinner on the 26th when my kids are coming over and picked up some cheese and green chili tamales to go with it. But you gotta be early. Our local hispanic market opens at 6AM and are sold out before 9am.
