Power stuff major modifications
I was out on a 1st date with a gal who was said to like hot cars.
She was definitely uncomfortable with my speeding, whipping the car around and hard braking.
I saw my buddy and we staged at the traffic light. Smoking tires, loud exhaust
She didn’t say much of anything for a few minutes afterwards she gently leaned over and gave me a kiss and
And said let’s go park you can guess the rest
Another time me and my buddy were at the bowling alley and picked up a couple of girls. One was hot the other was ok. My buddy was used to getting the hot hot one as he was an extremely handsome guy. Hottie got in the front with me. My buddy was pissed and wanted to go home. I wound up with both of them. Heh heh heh

I read the same story in Penthouse Magazine many years ago...........
 
In 1974 my first car was a yellow 1971 six cyl. Gremlin. While cruising the local loop in downtown Greenville on a Friday night I managed to get beside a brand new 1974 Gremlin, also yellow. Gal with long red hair in it was a few years older than I (I think she said 22, I was 17).
"I like your car." She said "Like yours too." I suggested, "Meet me behind the court house. We'll do the loop in mine, then in yours."
After parking and talking a while, off to her place, a tiny travel trailer in a trailer park, to drink some Strawberry Hill. I never liked the stuff but... when in Rome.
Out to Whirlwinds for breakfast the next morning, then back to her place until sometime mid day Saturday.
I saw her in town only twice afterwards. Just a smile and wave between us. Then she vanished, trailer and all. I heard she had moved to Spartanburg. I also heard she had a brown belt in karate. That explains the Bruce Lee posters on the ceiling above where the table turned into a bed.
Anyway... No hot car required.
 
I had the opposite experience. I had tried to get a date with Desi in the neighborhood for a long time. Went on the first date driving my 64 Barracuda with a hot 273 4 speed. I got behind someone slow on the way home and kept in a lower gear at around 3K on the tach. Got my chance and floored it to get around the car in front. The Barracuda zipped to 6K in a heartbeat and after i pulled back into my lane, I look over and Desi is as white as a ghost. She would not go out with me after that...

Well..................at least the car was HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rofl:
 
I took my mother in law somewhere in the Cuda and my wife told her; if men smile and wave and give a thumbs up or take pictures it’s not for you it’s the car. Yeh, so no benefits for me except I was taking her to the bus station.

I love my Mother In Law............we take her with us every time to go on a long vacation.




Unfortunately she always finds her way back.:mad::mob::realcrazy::soapbox:
