It is supposed to sprinkle on and off this morning.

I forgot to mention a nice millennial jumped in to help move the tent.

Oh and I got snubbed by an E body guy, guess im not a cool kid after all!

if the top works i'd have just put it up..lol. and screw the ebody guy. too many of those guys think like corvette guys.. bunch of clowns.

Love it! And heck I get snubbed by the E body guys and I got one! Of course the toggle switch start panel and steering wheel sitting on dash with blue tape for orientation may have something to do with it? That is one nice Vert I don’t care if you are a Vette guy, Porsche guy or the all too important E body guy!

You need a margarita machine for your display and one of those electric light up palm tree. I like the display even the beach blanket. Your not full into are you and wearing and speedo are you?:poke:

What is a convertible at a car show with the top up... a hard top with a vinyl top.

Na... moving the tent was awesome and later I saw other doing it. I'm even thinking about getting another tent just to keep the interior out of the sun at future shows.

at last count...

3 AMC
4 B/E body
2 67-69 darts
1 72 dart
1 65 Satellite (426 hemi and for sale)
1 65? dodge version of a Satellite
1 early dart

1 AMC and 1 B/E won an award

and got 5 people looking at FABO

What happens when you wipe out? That would be fast water rescue time here.......stories here of guys riding boogie boards down the flood control channel all the way to the ocean, 10-12 miles of mild rapids. Heavy fine now

I remember a tragic story of a kid getting into the LA river (IIRC) and getting washed downstream till he ended up in the covered part and never seen again (for you non So Cal people the term river means cement lined drainage canal 10's of yards wide that occasionally gets full. ) some of the scenes in "to live and die in LA" and Greese were shot in the LA River

Gumball Rally....There are 2 foot drop offs in those channels every now and then to keep the grade uniform so no uninterrupted car chases down those.
