Ray your story reminds me of when I bought wiper blades for my sons 350Z, they charged me 3k for it, my bad I just signed the slip, didn't look. That one took over a week to clear up, B.S.
 
I was supposed to be off yesterday but a guy from our fiber crew who's doing a repair on a 144 pair cable in our area poked his head in my shop, guess what, FLOODING!!! He calls me up, hey you know you have about 3 inches of water in your shop? Long story short, had to cut the wall open behind my co-workers bench, busted pipe.

Swab or rapid test?? Wife did a rapid last year when we go it and was negative. Two days did the swab and was positive.
Lots of false readings I'm told off the rapid test.

I'll ask, thanks. Today is 5 days since we had contact with him, heard symptoms can show 2-14 days.
 
Morning all. Getting ready to rig down, go through customs and return to the US. Bad weather coming in though on Sunday.
 
My wife runs a state agency. With covid and employees sick off and on she always mentions a 10-day symptom rule the state uses.
Hope he can dodge it.
 
You see they will lower the wait time for essential workers to 5 days? pretty dumb for medical types.

Put Avalanche in shop overnight, think it was a good idea for sure. It will be all de-iced by now.
Going for tea and snacks this evening, probably home by 9:00. No new year celebration here, its just too damn cold and im old and grumpy.

Frank that is cold, don't blame you. We've had "cold" for a week now, I'm already sick of it, don't know if I could hang up where you are!

We used to get a break from this by going on a carribbean cruise , but that’s done.
 
Here's a couple of pics from my shop. The leak was from an outside wall where the crews hose their boots off, there's a grate that they stand on. The concrete wall has steel studs and while there was some insulation in the wall, the pipes that supplied their water weren't insulated correctly. Hoping the plumbers that come Monday redo the insulation.

Holidays are time to catch up. The wife is on her way to the office today. No meetings or phone calls. A lot of work gets done.
