I have an early 340 GTS 4 speed car getting restored. The console has an access open on the driver's side. It had a fiber cover (like the B body consoles do) that fell apart. I've seen pictures of other consoles and they don't have this access. Also I have not found a repo cover either. Can someone shed some light on this with me? Thanks, Dave.

Before there was one available I fabbed one out of fiberglass matt. Shifter scrapes a little going in reverse as I didn't bump it out quite enough.
