Cat Food

-
I use "World's Best" and "Swheat Scoop" flushable/biodegradable.

I stocked up with six 30 pound bags at the 50% off open bag/damaged box place.

Still got 3 left.

I had to laugh when I got a couple text from a friend today that went to get some cat food. Lol.

We help feed 2 colonies as well as our crew of 8.
The shortage started the middle of last year.
My guess is that the meat and production is overseas.

For a while we were getting a good quality brand from Vietnam of all places.

On a related note- really the only other items we are having a hard time finding are:

Thomas' mini bagels. Only there every third or fourth trip.

Caffeine free diet Pepsi in small containers.
This is always the first to sell out if Pepsi products are on sale, but it's way more difficult to find now.
Maybe once every 5-6 trips. Curiously the 2 litres are available every other trip.

Pretty sure those two are NOT shipped in from outside the US.

That's really all that we're having trouble with.
I could not find Ground cayenne for 8 months. Country Kernal mix is hit and miss

I buy my dog's dry food at the local feed store. I haven't noticed any shortages yet.
I have to buy a minimum of two 25-lb bags to get the discounted price, but after 10 bags I get one free.
His food is good stuff without fillers. I can keep him well fed/nourished with a smaller quantity because of the lack of fillers. That cuts down on the volume and quantity of "land mines" he leaves for me in the back yard.
