This awful beeping noise happens............and then I remembered.......the mail has been coming so late I bought a little China device called a "mail chime" wireless transmitter in the box, an LED and alarm in the house. But I was half drowsy and took me a few moments to realize WTF?

EIGHT O'CLOCK last night is when the mail finally came!!

Our mail has been about that time too. Apparently too many off sick.

Google "mail chime" I think I found one on ebay for around 45 bucks

Amazon shows 60 bucks, I did not pay that much

The transmitter module takes a single small battery and has double stick tape which I decided not to use. I drilled two holes in the mounting plate after removing the sticky tape and used small screws, about no3 machine screws, you could use 4-40 whatever.

It has some kind of tilt switch so when the lid is flopped down, it transmits a short signal which activates the house receiver. It beeps several times, then locks an LED powered. Has a reset button to turn that off. So far it has worked well. I am not far off the street, box is across a 2 lane residential street

Don't they have mailboxes that the mail falls into a locked compartment?
 
They do make large metal mailboxes (about size of a breadbox) with a lockable lid. Can be enlarged to pass meds.

Pay FedEx and have your packages delivered to the wrong address. And who then is responsible? You are. Good luck filing a claim which is your only option at that point.
 
I am calling neighbors now looking for package UPS said they dropped off last night, Joe

Used to work for them, back when they were good, every one is behind the eight ball now, get off your *** and go to a store, or, jump in the box line, if you make it four hours, you’re doing well
