Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good to see Karl back at it in our coffee thread.
Good morning everyone, going to be a hot sunny day today

Good AM everyone. Speaking of brake lines, I need to replace the back ones on the daily car. They just came Friday finally after 3 weeks.

Morning!
Windy, warm and a touch of rain. Not a terrible day.

brake fluid? Yes, hoppy is correct. A properly sealed system wont absorb moisture from the air. But fluid needs to be flushed from time to time.

if brake system is %100 new then there is the perfect time to switch to silicone fluid.

Learned something new yesterday on a scope and dual points. The scope will treat them as one set not two. Had the guy pull that dual point from the six-pack car and we beat the hell out of it on the dist machine. Well had a small misfire right at the rpm we were having issues with, did not show on the scope at all. Looked at the points the primary set was a bit blue prob from when the condenser opened. Changed them no more extra blip of light. Hopefully that was the issue will find out tomorrow.

Heading to Pella today. It's a small town in Iowa where the Dutch settled in 1847 and they have a tulip festival every year. Happy Mother's Day. Good idea Andy! (my oldest)
Wow, quite the celebration. A quarter million people over 3 days. Hundreds of thousands of tulips a lot of food and history.
Damn do I hurt but not complaining (much) :lol:12,000 steps on the step tracker and a lot of standing (which I can't stand much of now days. Had a great time with the family and finished up by eating supper at Zombie Burgers. I'll post some pics soon.

Interesting but makes sense.

Hopefully it will be fixed now. He still has a issue on the primary carb one mixture screw makes no difference at all. No marks on it either. Not my prob. Prob a clogged metering block I am leaning to.

Wow a couple years ago Cheryl and her mom took a cruise to the Netherlands to see the tulips.
Could I guess they could of went to Iowa and saved me a few $$? :BangHead:

Morning, breakfast and walks done, coffee time. then off to get parts. This Dakota is kicking my ***, had it torn down and back together three times and still leaks. Got pissed and tore it all down and am going to go all new parts as I couldn't find anything but a soft bypass hose that I replaced.
