Lucas really doesn't want you watching the original 1977 cut.


technically, since the title was officially changed (and content added and changed), anyone that posts a video clip or discusses certain scenes is wrong to call it "Star Wars". released in 1977.

Yup, i too saw ' Episode IV ' in opening scroll. I had thought it odd too as i thought this was first one. I think i saw it 2nd week it came out as i remember the lines around the theater to see it. I saw a ~5pm show as it was barely light out when we got out.

Ok, Star Wars afficianado question. When the rebel fleet is getting it's *** kicked and Luke is watching it from the emperors ship and again, same scenario except with Ren in latest movie ...why dont they just jump to light speed and warp out of the battle field. Saving their *** for another day? Instead they sit their ans get pounded for dramatic effect.
