Possible good news from TrickFlow

-
I have a new trickflow intake and a new unused airgap rpm .
I waited 6 to 8 months to get the trickflow.
I'm glad I have both since they have become hard to get.
I also have a brand new air gap magnum from hughes for fuel injection.
Glad I have options.
I hope others can get them soon as well

Where does the trickflow fit in the hierarchy of single plane intakes? About in-line with a Victor?

From looking at it but never touching it that’s where I guess it fits in. The only reason I would probably buy one is because at the Halloween Classic at Norwalk they have a free race for guys that run their products. But since my 422 may be going back in when I finish it that would be money waisted because it has an Indy intake on it.

You all getting on Dan is the reason why people leave this site.
If Dan would stay on topic & not make baseless complaints, we would not be on him.
His threads are another story.

We all here like to help and further peoples knowledge and project. Helping with endeavors is what we all do.
However, if you see a bunch of people getting on someone, there’s a reason behind it.

My fault for sure. It may be best for everyone if I don't post or respond on here anymore, I have to realize that most on here have been friends for a while and I don't have the right to flare things up. I'm thinking about gathering out of the car scene, but after 2 years of looking for a rust free non project car and coming up empty handed. I want to thank everybody here for their help.

If you have the cash and the transportation you can find a beautiful running A Body for under $15,000. Join some groups on Facebook, there are many, ask for the exact car you are looking for and watch the for sale ads come to you.

I've never seen a A body like you describe for 15k, I've been looking

Dan, do as you wish. Your “Flaring things up” is, IMO, failure to comprehend what your reading and what your interjecting on. As like this thread. And I’ll take it a step further, also in other threads that you post in and even started. Your constant multiple search threads are numerous. There repetitive and so are the replies. People are getting tired of answering the same question worded a different way. As well as your replies to peoples answers trying to help you.

What you really need to do is set up a plan and get moving on it.

I advertised and sold a 74 duster last year for 13000,00 with a Dana, Axles, spool, aftermarket disk brakes, certified to 8.50, headers, 14-32 slicks. Needed an engine and transmission and go racing.

Les get back on topic and not Dan’s list of woe’s.

Dan, start a thread on
“Reasonably priced non project A bodies?”

Now the thread will hopefully stop being fucked up!

I just hope TF gets caught up on Mopar heads and intakes. It does seem like they're filling backorders. I almost pulled the trigger on some FE heads of theirs (on ebay) a few months back but waited too long and they disappeared. I may just have to order them and wait, but I'm bad at waiting.

I'd still love to try their intake since I've already got the SB heads installed. Not sure what I'd want to gain from it at this point though - I've got a victor 340 on it already and it scoots.

This may be an odd question, but has anybody bored out the flats for the nitrous port injection on these manifolds for regular ol’ MPFI? Is that possible?

i guess anymore copies of this intake will never be , is it a manufacturing problem or did it not live up to there expectations ?

Trick Flow® Track Heat® Intake Manifold for Small Block Mopar TFS-61400111

Lots of their stuff has been shown with extended Lead times, then not available, then suddenly they have 10 available, then they go unavailable again. I think they turn off the item when there's enough back orders for them to feel bad and then they turn it back on once they schedule more.

Right now it's a waiting game for those interested.

since they released a new intake for the RB / TF 270 Heads with Dominator Flange i do have hope that the SB one will come back.

Michael

So how would you improve the RPM and Air Gap?
I would make it so it actually fits a motor and has holes drilled in the proper spots... (still waiting to hear back from edelbrock on mine..)

Fingers crossed they make more. As soon as they start taking orders for them I’ll be ordering one.
